Hey what’s up coders welcome to one little coder mid Journey 5 has been being tested by some paid users of mid-journey and there are a lot of images that are out in the internet that that are probably mid-journey images mid Journey version 5 images and these images are simply mind-blowing so in

This video I wanted to share some of these videos some of these pictures that I saw on a Twitter thread and then we can also explore how this these images look much better than existing stable division or mid-journ images for those who are not familiar with mid-journey

Mid journey is an AI art or a photo photo creates and Tool or a model Plus tool so right now you can access my journey in two different ways one you could be either a paid user or you could be using mid Journey beta on their Discord server so this particular

Images the the one that we are going to discuss today is actually shared by Nick so Nick has been a paid mid Journey user so Nick got an opportunity to raid new images of mid Journey V5 there is a disclaimer that mid Journey has shared which is these images are not like

Images that are just straight out of box from the model that they’re going to share in a couple of weeks but it could have been post processors like a lot of things could have happened but for now we know this is not mid Journey V4 and

It is most likely mid Journey V5 and let’s see how these images are absolutely stunning and Brilliant and I’m going to share My Views about some of these images about how these are quite different from what the state of the art image generation tool at this

Moment we have to start with like I said how did they get access to this this is not an inside A leak or something so these paid users of mid-journey got an opportunity to rate mid-journ images so if you are watching this video and you are a paid user you can also go

To the link which I’ll link it in the YouTube description you can go and then rate the images yourself so now looking at these images there are a lot of different kinds of images that we have got like you’ve got landscape you’ve got food you’ve got human portrait you’ve

Got multiple different kinds of images so now if you look at all these images we let’s go through one by one some of these images and then see how certain details are really good at it first when you look at this landscape let’s say this is the first image when you look at

This landscape here you can see the swan is really good and the right reflection is actually really good and you know these things actually looks natural like it doesn’t look um the over saturated images that we get and even you know if you have to like actually figure out

This is probably a generator these are like certain things that you can use to figure out like if it is really human generated or AI generated but again like people when they draw also they can make these mistakes but overall this image looks like quite a perfect morning

Um sunshine and sunshine and you know a swan swimming a really good image but this is this is not actually an image that you know blows your mind but when you look at this food picture there are a lot of um Channel Instagram accounts that have been using AI generated photos

Now this is like a treat for the those channels because now look at this image look at the lemon here look at the texture on this meat uh whatever this is fish salmon whatever this is look at the details here and this is like actually really good the way this image is being

Presented the lighting around this image is quite nice and it’s very like if if you are a food blogger then this is probably the food for you because now ai can generate these images that you can like actually share it and if if you are

Going to write an article even if you do not have a picture so this is this is quite a mind-blowing image this image is okay there are a lot of cues in this image that can actually easily tell you this is AI generated image like you can

See the fingers here you can see the lenses you know how it is uh not correctly placed you can see this multiple heads uh so the these queues are quite easy to tell you that this is not human generated or it’s not a real photograph like you there are a lot of

Lot of cues like there is a suddenly a guy standing there without any shirt so a lot of cues are there but what I was quite interested in the kind of you know the hair that is generated you can see the skin tone um you can see the mustache you can see

The beard so these things look quite good to me um but the image again it’s not quite mind blowing another like anytime there is an AI generated image I think all of us the first thing that we look at is uh fingers so I I at least

Like I look at eyeballs and fingers and if you see this image the eyeballs you can look at it it’s a it’s not very bad but it is quite symmetrical like I would say like it’s it’s it’s not in a very awkward manner again you can look at

Certain cues how these things don’t look good like the teeth um these are good but if you see the fingers here the fingers are actually good like the fingers are not awkward uh that’s why like I don’t know if you know they they do V5 images on top of that

They do some close processing to fix these things because with control net pretty much today you can you can improve these things but you can you can see how good these images are where it might give out that this is an a generated image is a skin tone like you

Can see the skin tone like pretty pretty the plane and uh like I would say like blonde like quite quite um artificial like plasticish that’s why you get to know but but when you when you are sharing it on social media I think it doesn’t really matter

Uh in terms of people I think this is again absolutely good the the kind of background the depth of field it has created the human the humans hair uh the fingers and uh again like you can you can see that this is a generated image when you look at things like this you

Know things that are um that that don’t fit in the realm of our you like planet Earth and the the kind of physics that we have but overall this this again looks looks quite good like a very good image this is again um we don’t know the prompt that it has

Been used for this thing but it’s quite a quite a realistic image but from the look of this image you can get to know that this is AI generated because this image is like from a game shot like it’s like 3D generated image but if your objective is to create gaming characters

Using mid Journey V5 you would be you would be super happy with these images like like every other image you can point out to things that would easily give away this is a generated image you know the deformed faces some people have this mask you can you can look at the eyeballs

Here you can see some asymmetry here and you can see the crown and then look at things like ah these are details I wanted to point out not not to tell you that mid Journey V5 is not good but it’s actually really good but still you know

There are some cues that are left here and there for human beings to figure out uh one other thing that I was so happy to see is the fingers uh this finger is not perfect I would say like when you when you hold something like this it’s

Not going to your finger look like this but but again like from whatever we have seen before these fingers look perfect and uh it’s uh the sword is good everything looks good and uh if you really want to go dig deep you can look at fingers here how people are holding

It where people are holding it the face now you you can see this image the image is good the hand the hair the ring again once again the fingers are the main culprits everywhere in any image that you generate but it it does its job let’s look at the next next one here

This was actually like I was quite happy with this the way this image had come the hair is quite uh good but it is you can see that it look it has this rendering look uh the eyeballs are quite symmetrical like I I am I’m happy with

The way this eyeballs look whenever I’ve tried with let’s say stable Fusion at least like sometimes with the mid Journey when you try to create an image without any post processing no facial fixture but you can actually see the eyeballs not being a symmetrical um that’s that’s always a thing that has

Bugged me and it has always helped me figure out if it is an AI generated image or human generated image the eyeball is really good the skin texture is good like look at the wrinkles here look at the wrinkles here look at the wrinkles here so this texture is

Actually quite good like when I see this particular image at least I know that this is not uh like human generated image but it’s not very easily giving away that it is this is an image that actually quite impressed me somebody can easily look at the hair the

Hairstyle and then you can say that you know this is not how somebody would tie their hair and then you can make that argument but overall this image looks um really good because it doesn’t uh it doesn’t do the typical AI generated images that you would usually assume it

To do and this is again another image it’s uh it’s quite natural because it’s it’s very and it’s it’s like a photograph of an ugly sink so that doesn’t uh that doesn’t easily tell you like when something is too beautiful you can easily say that this is AI generated

Image but when something is not really beautiful when you have captured like the photographers about something that is ugly it’s quite hard so I I couldn’t say that this is AI generated image now the kitchen it looks good like I think a lot of people have been using AI generated images for interior

Photographs like changing landscape within or changing your house um interior decorations from one room to another room so this this actually looks quite promising people have been doing this with control net control net has been quite good in you know restoring the physics or dimensions of the room

And then still filling in with separate details because it can do 8G reduction quite well but but this looks good this actually looks good and this is again nothing great about this thing so like these things are quite good if you see the text you know something is wrong

With this thing but but overall if you want to like look at it just like an image it it looks good um no opinion about this interior it looks good I am particularly so interested and happy to see the way food images have come out I’m not sure like what kind of

Impact it is going to have with influencers are they going to be happy are they going to be sad but look at the images this is quite good the the the stew and uh you know the broccoli the prawns it it looks quite natural to me

Um if right now this this is a plate that is just separate but if you have if you had put this plate on a table uh I wouldn’t have I wouldn’t have taken a long time to you know actually believe that this is human generated image this

Is again good the reflection is good the fork is good um even though we don’t get to see the uh the the fork actually but it is good like the way it has been cut it is all good um this is this is an image that I already showed that I was quite

Impressed with that this one um looks too good to be honest like uh it it looks like your typical stock photo maybe you know you hired a very high-end photographer and then the photographer did this thing so it looks like that but again like if

You are uh if you just want to use stock photography um instead of paying for a let’s say Getty Shutterstock maybe this is the way like you can literally get the best short fruit ball with this and now you can play with this you can play

With the shot which you’re gonna do with stock photography so this is actually good this is this doesn’t look quite real to me and uh once again the same thing with this the hands are quite the fingers look good uh the nothing wrong with the finger but if you see the

Skin texture it looks quite uh quite artificial this is quite good like I can I can take this photo and then you know make some changes to the exposure and uh white balance and it it would look really good the smoke is good the grilling is good the Mayo is good like

Forget about this top part but everything else looks quite realistic because it doesn’t look like that plane like you can see the texture here you can see the texture here or the Sesame is there um I’m not sure like if anybody is going to get into that particular detail and

Then see how it looks but this is quite a good photo food block photo the same thing I don’t know who puts for I I don’t know I’m sorry like if this is a dish this is again like the too good to be true kind of image but this one looks

Quite natural to me in the way it looks I wanted to end this video with this particular image this particular image if you see it’s quite good I don’t know what kind of post processing has been done because the Canon logo has been very perfectly um like the logo is quite good it’s

Possible because it’s it’s part of the training photo Set uh so the logo is quite there because it’s not text where you can get to know is when you see the 60 centimeter there you get to know that this is actually AI generated you can also see the text on the lens that

Actually gives you a way that this is AI generated but but like what was quite interesting for me the dust on it the overall overall like the shape of it it does kept the shape quite intact like these are like certain giveaways but overall it doesn’t look like the two

Good to be true image and this is what the overall theme for Mid Journey V5 V5 for me at least like whenever I see any bit Journey V5 images it doesn’t look most of the times it doesn’t look like this is an image that is like too good

To be true like the plasticky 3D generator like blender type images it looks looks natural but at the same time you know there are still there are certain things that leaves out those details that helps us figure out whether this is AI generated or not I personally

Would like if I can actually look at an image and then make make uh make a make an assessment whether this is AI generated or human generated but but whatever we have seen so far with the mid Journey V5 images at least the images that Nick shared this is really

Good I think this is one of the best models out there at this point in terms of AI generated images like when I say base model from stable diffusion based model uh from let’s say a Lexica aperture model and there are a lot of other these kind of smaller models

Available mid Journey has always been at the top with a very simple prompting you can actually generate a really good image and it looks like they are going in that particular direction and they like I mentioned at the start they have given a disclaimer that these images do

Not represent the image coming out of the mid Journey V5 algorithm so it’s possible that they have done some post processing and they’re trying to rate they’re trying to get the users ready to see if that post processing should be included in the model itself but overall

Mid Journey V5 looks quite realistic out of the world but still leaving some cues for us to figure out whether this is AI generated or not let me know your thoughts about it if you have figured out like any other new model that has been quite good with photorealistic

08:56 can easily say that this is AI generated
08:57 image but when something is not really
08:59 beautiful when you have captured like
09:01 the photographers about something that
09:02 is ugly it’s quite hard so I I couldn’t
09:04 say that this is AI generated image now
09:07 the kitchen it looks good like I think a
09:09 lot of people have been using AI
09:11 generated images for interior
09:13 photographs like changing landscape
09:15 within or changing your house um
09:17 interior decorations from one room to
09:19 another room so this this actually looks
09:22 quite promising people have been doing
09:23 this with control net control net has
09:25 been quite good in you know restoring
09:28 the physics or dimensions of the room
09:30 and then still filling in with separate
09:32 details because it can do 8G reduction
09:34 quite well but but this looks good this
09:37 actually looks good and this is again
09:39 nothing great about this thing so like
09:42 these things are quite good if you see
09:44 the text you know something is wrong
09:46 with this thing but but overall if you
09:47 want to like look at it just like an
09:49 image it it looks good
09:52 um no opinion about this interior it
09:54 looks good
09:55 I am particularly so interested and
09:57 happy to see the way food images have
09:59 come out I’m not sure like what kind of
10:01 impact it is going to have with
10:03 influencers are they going to be happy
10:04 are they going to be sad but look at the
10:06 images this is quite good the the the
10:09 stew and uh you know the broccoli the
10:12 prawns it it looks quite natural to me
10:16 um if right now this this is a plate
10:18 that is just separate but if you have if
10:20 you had put this plate on a table uh I
10:22 wouldn’t have I wouldn’t have taken a
10:24 long time to you know actually believe
10:27 that this is human generated image this
10:29 is again good the reflection is good the
10:32 fork is good
10:33 um even though we don’t get to see the
10:35 uh the the fork actually but it is good
10:37 like the way it has been cut it is all
10:39 good
10:40 um this is this is an image that I
10:41 already showed that I was quite
10:42 impressed with that
10:44 this one
10:45 um looks too good
10:47 to be honest like uh it it looks like
10:50 your typical stock photo maybe you know
10:51 you hired a very high-end photographer
10:54 and then the photographer did this thing
10:55 so it looks like that but again like if
10:57 you are uh if you just want to use stock
11:00 photography um instead of paying for a
11:02 let’s say Getty Shutterstock maybe this
11:05 is the way like you can literally get
11:06 the best short fruit ball with this and
11:10 now you can play with this you can play
11:13 with the shot which you’re gonna do with
11:15 stock photography so this is actually
11:16 good
11:17 this is this doesn’t look quite real to
11:20 me and uh once again the same thing with
11:22 this the hands are quite
11:26 the fingers look good uh the nothing
11:28 wrong with the finger but if you see the
11:29 skin texture it looks quite uh quite
11:31 artificial this is quite good like I can
11:34 I can take this photo and then you know
11:36 make some changes to the exposure and uh
11:38 white balance and it it would look
11:41 really good the smoke is good the
11:43 grilling is good the Mayo is good like
11:46 forget about this top part but
11:47 everything else looks quite realistic
11:49 because it doesn’t look like that plane
11:52 like you can see the texture here you
11:53 can see the texture here or the Sesame
11:55 is there
11:56 um I’m not sure like if anybody is going
11:58 to get into that particular detail and
11:59 then see how it looks but this is quite
12:01 a good photo food block photo the same
12:04 thing I don’t know who puts for I I
12:06 don’t know I’m sorry like if this is a
12:08 dish this is again like the too good to
12:11 be true kind of image but this one looks
12:13 quite natural to me in the way it looks
12:15 I wanted to end this video with this
12:17 particular image this particular image
12:19 if you see it’s quite good I don’t know
12:21 what kind of post processing has been
12:23 done because the Canon logo has been
12:25 very perfectly
12:27 um like the logo is quite good it’s
12:29 possible because it’s it’s part of the
12:31 training photo Set uh so the logo is
12:34 quite there because it’s not text where
12:35 you can get to know is when you see the
12:37 60 centimeter there you get to know that
12:38 this is actually AI generated you can
12:40 also see the text on the lens that
12:42 actually gives you a way that this is AI
12:44 generated but but like what was quite
12:46 interesting for me the dust on it the
12:48 overall overall like the shape of it it
12:50 does kept the shape quite intact like
12:53 these are like certain giveaways but
12:55 overall it doesn’t look like the two
12:56 good to be true image and this is what
12:59 the overall theme for Mid Journey V5 V5
13:01 for me at least like whenever I see any
13:04 bit Journey V5 images it doesn’t look
13:07 most of the times it doesn’t look like
13:09 this is an image that is like too good
13:11 to be true like the plasticky 3D
13:13 generator like blender type images it
13:15 looks looks natural but at the same time
13:17 you know there are still there are
13:18 certain things that leaves out those
13:20 details that helps us figure out whether
13:22 this is AI generated or not I personally
13:25 would like if I can actually look at an
13:28 image and then make make uh make a make
13:30 an assessment whether this is AI
13:32 generated or human generated but but
13:34 whatever we have seen so far with the
13:36 mid Journey V5 images at least the
13:38 images that Nick shared this is really
13:40 good I think this is one of the best
13:42 models out there at this point in terms
13:44 of AI generated images like when I say
13:46 base model from stable diffusion based
13:49 model uh from let’s say a Lexica
13:52 aperture model and there are a lot of
13:54 other these kind of smaller models
13:55 available mid Journey has always been at
13:58 the top with a very simple prompting you
14:00 can actually generate a really good
14:01 image and it looks like they are going
14:04 in that particular direction and they
14:07 like I mentioned at the start they have
14:08 given a disclaimer that these images do
14:10 not represent the image coming out of
14:12 the mid Journey V5 algorithm so it’s
14:14 possible that they have done some post
14:16 processing and they’re trying to rate
14:17 they’re trying to get the users ready to
14:19 see if that post processing should be
14:21 included in the model itself but overall
14:24 mid Journey V5 looks quite realistic out
14:29 of the world but still leaving some cues
14:30 for us to figure out whether this is AI
14:32 generated or not let me know your

14:35 out like any other new model that has
14:38 been quite good with photorealistic
