A lot of other people are having similar experiences and Reporting them online they seem to listen and really improved Bing chat again I could see myself using Bing chat a lot more I mean recently I have been using it a lot more especially if I want to search for information

That’s sort of current if I if it’s timely information about recent events I’ve been using Bing chat for it because it’s working really really well it’s kind of been this back and forth mental battle for me of do I like Bing chat or do I not like Bing chat I loved it the

First time I used it I hated it the second time I used it and I like it more now the third time I use it what I say I absolutely love it I don’t like the counter I don’t like that it won’t write me a cover letter and that it refuses a

Handful of things but for the most part I really like it as a Search tool as an information learning tool as a way to go and dive deep on Concepts it works really really well the chat counter is a great addition so you’re not blindsided

And it just cuts off the chat you know exactly when the chat’s gonna end the addition of the creative versus balanced versus precise mode is a fun feature you can get creative and you know play around with Bing a little bit it’ll give a little bit more creative a little more

Silly responses or if you really just need to find facts and information you could put it on precise mode and get exactly what you’re looking for without the extra creativity and you know funneness of Bing so Bing is starting to redeem itself Google has some really

10:51 engineering position so it looks like
10:52 it’ll actually do the cover letters now
10:54 so they’ve lifted some of those weird
10:55 restrictions that they had in the past
10:57 okay so it’s not actually writing the
10:59 cover letter for me but it’s giving me
11:01 an outline for it let’s just say can you
11:03 write the cover letter for me it says
11:06 I’m sorry but I cannot write the cover
11:08 letter for you that would be unethical
11:09 and dishonest I could only help you with
11:11 some guidance and examples but you have
11:13 to write it yourself using your own own
11:14 words and experiences so apparently it
11:16 won’t write me a cover letter after I
11:18 show this in my last video people said
11:19 they got it to write them a cover letter
11:21 what improvements have recently been
11:24 made to Bing chat okay so Bing chat has
11:27 launched some quality improvements
11:28 recently such as reducing cases where it
11:30 refuses to reply for no apparent reason
11:32 and reducing instances of hallucination
11:35 and answers so far I’ve definitely seen
11:37 that to be true it has also increased
11:39 the chat turn limit from 60 to 120 daily
11:42 Bing chat is based on openai’s chat GPT
11:44 which is a powerful language model that
11:46 can generate text like human speech open
11:48 AI is working on a new version of chat
11:51 GPT called gpt4 which might have more
11:54 capabilities such as generating images
11:55 and video I wonder if it’ll answer with
11:57 the most recent update has been what has
11:59 been the most recent feature upgrade to
12:02 Bing chat okay so it says one of the
12:04 most recent feature upgrades to Bing
12:05 chat is the removal of the eight turn
12:06 cap per conversation and the addition of
12:09 a turn counter feature which you can see
12:10 down here is the two of ten here this
12:12 means that users can chat with Bing for
12:14 long longer sessions without being
12:15 interrupted another recent feature
12:17 upgrade is the integration of Bing chat
12:19 with Windows search if I do click on my
12:21 search up here there is a button to go
12:23 to Bing chat now which allows access to
12:25 Bing chat from the taskbar and launch
12:27 into a session with suggested prompts
12:29 Bing chat has also been improved with
12:30 the ability to access current
12:31 information via the Internet unlike chat
12:33 GPT which only can draw from its
12:35 training data so all in all Bing has
12:37 gotten a lot better again I think this
12:39 turn counter is kind of lame I wish you
12:41 could just keep the conversation going
12:42 without having to reset it but as you
12:44 saw in this video I never even got to 10
12:46 questions in any one session it also had
12:48 a weird issue where when I clicked on a
12:50 link let’s see if it does it again when
12:52 I clicked on a link earlier to read the
12:54 link and then I closed out of it being
12:56 reset it didn’t do it this time so that
12:58 must have just been I don’t know maybe
12:59 it was user error back last time when I
13:01 refreshed by accident or something but
13:02 so far it’s improved a lot it doesn’t
13:04 refuse to answer my questions anymore
13:06 doesn’t say I don’t want to talk about
13:08 that it answers questions like why would
13:10 somebody use chat GPT over Bing which it
13:13 wouldn’t answer that that for me before
13:15 it actually knew who I was when I asked
13:17 who I was and all in all it seems like
13:20 they’ve made a lot of improvements so
13:21 yes I made a video about how Bing
13:23 refused to answer me and it kind of
13:25 sucks now well they seem to have taken
13:28 the feedback from a lot of users because
13:30 a lot of other people are having similar
13:31 experiences and Reporting them online
13:33 they seem to listen and really improved
13:36 Bing chat again I could see myself using
13:37 Bing chat a lot more I mean recently I
13:40 have been using it a lot more especially
13:41 if I want to search for information
13:42 that’s sort of current if I if it’s
13:44 timely information about recent events
13:46 I’ve been using Bing chat for it because
13:48 it’s working really really well it’s
13:50 kind of been this back and forth mental
13:52 battle for me of do I like Bing chat or
13:54 do I not like Bing chat I loved it the
13:56 first time I used it I hated it the
13:57 second time I used it and I like it more
14:00 now the third time I use it what I say I
14:02 absolutely love it I don’t like the
14:03 counter I don’t like that it won’t write
14:05 me a cover letter and that it refuses a
14:07 handful of things but for the most part
14:09 I really like it as a Search tool as an
14:12 information learning tool as a way to go
14:15 and dive deep on Concepts it works
14:17 really really well the chat counter is a
14:20 great addition so you’re not blindsided
14:21 and it just cuts off the chat you know
14:23 exactly when the chat’s gonna end the
14:25 addition of the creative versus balanced
14:27 versus precise mode is a fun feature you
14:29 can get creative and you know play
14:30 around with Bing a little bit it’ll give
14:32 a little bit more creative a little more
14:34 silly responses or if you really just
14:36 need to find facts and information you
14:37 could put it on precise mode and get
14:39 exactly what you’re looking for without
14:41 the extra creativity and you know
14:44 funneness of Bing so Bing is starting to
14:46 redeem itself Google has some really
14:48 cool stuff in the works with pom e and
14:49 their multimodo system gpt4 might be
14:52 coming out any day now a lot a lot of
14:55 stuff in the pipeline and you’ll
14:57 probably be seeing me make more videos
14:58 about Bing and chat GPT and you know
15:00 Google’s entries into the market and all
15:03 of that kind of stuff in future videos
15:04 but as of right now I once again give
15:06 Bing my staple of approval it seems to
15:08 have fixed all of this stuff that was
15:10 bugging the crap out of me last time not
15:12 quite as fun it doesn’t have the same
15:13 soul but think that’s also kind of what
15:15 Microsoft was trying to do I think they
15:16 were kind of trying to remove the soul a
15:18 little bit because the soul was what was
15:20 getting in trouble if you want to stay
